This cache is situated not too far from the ruins of an 18th century corn mill (which now has been fenced in) at the start of a walk skirting Hawarden Castle Estate (Bilberry Wood Walk) and heading through Bilberry woods.
We can find very little information about the mill, only that it ceased operations as late as the 1940s and it was fed from a large pond via a sluice.
Just think, no cost to anyone, no carbon emissions, just the water as energy.
Tree cover could make GPS readings difficult but the above is a best estimate based on several readings.
