Rt 66 is so much fun to travel on. You never know what you will
find while searching it (the road). The old towns, relics of the
past, are part of what makes up this great country of our's.
While on a recent trip to a geocaching event in Tucumcari, NM we
had an opportunity to travel and stay on the "Mother Road." What
caught my eye were the many murals painted on the sides of
buildings along Tucumcari Blvd. and other side streets. One such
building being brought back to life has murals of Elvis and his
cadillac. The 1950's Trailways Flexible Clipper that is on the side
street is painted so that it seems to move as you go past it.
We have placed a cache at this location with permission from the
