Geocache Description:

Corbally, south County Kilkenny.

Corbally is situated in the low hills of southern Kilkenny.

This cross was placed here in memory of The Marquis of Waterford. He died after falling from his horse while hunting here in 1859.

Corbally is located about 9km west of Mullinavat and the M9 exit and 10km northeast of Piltown adjacent to the N24. This road is very narrow - the best place to park is at the entrance to the forest, which is located about two hundred metres uphill from here.

The cache is a small plastic canister. BYOP.
