Geocache Description:

Tonka Town is a strange little village that is made up of rocks that are arranged to form homes, stables, garages, etc., built to fit toy trucks, cars, bikes, and different little people, like dolls and toys. Thanks to those who recently cleaned up the area and repaired some damage done by some yahoos.

Update as of 11/3/24: We came out to maintain the cache and saw that some nice folks replaced it with a spice jar they had, so we replaced it with a blue snap-top box. We alos left a notepad and some other fun items, take one, leave one. This has been a fun cache for many years and I'm glad folks are finding and respectibg the location, for the most part. The rock houses have slowly eroded away and made way for some fun sstructures, memorials and newer toys. Bring some fun items and please do not destroy anything, it's meant to enjoy as a fun destination. *End of update* Tonka Town is near Barstow, CA, out in an area called Copper City. You'll need a decent car or truck or motorcycle capable of going on dirt double-track roads, and there is plenty of bushes that can scratch your car if you are not careful. The little village has dozens of structures that each have either a Tonka truck, car, bike, dinosaurs, etc. It's quite interesting, not sure who built it, but it must have taken a lot of time over many visits to put it together. Please do not disrupt the village, enjoy it and swap out a token. There is a small pencil inside the container and a log sheet. My original item I placed was keychain in the shape of a motorcycle, doubles as a bottle opener, it has a logo on it "UEA" which is the name of our motorcycle club. Dozens of possible spots, think about a garage though. The container is a round plastic sealed food container.
