Ahhh – the CARNIVAL. Let your minds take you back – and
BEYOND – to the days of yesteryear. ONCE UPON A time,
children and adults alike, would visit carnivals to have a great
time, relieve some stress, look at the unique sights and try exotic
foods, or enjoy the MUSIC & ARTS.
Come – there is something for everyone at the carnival. Take
in the BEAUTY of it all. Will you fall in love with the
world’s longest fingernails? Will you admire the strength of
Henry & Richard and their heavy blocks? Will you be scared away
by the subterranean denizens and the interesting variety of
foot-long treats they offer, or maybe by the amazing WORKS of the
doctor on call? Will you pan for GOLD and strike it rich?
(Don’t worry…there may be a FINANCIAL consultant
nearby than can offer some solutions.) Or will you try your hand at
the different elixirs of BEAUTY that SALLY offers or the potions or
VITAMINs that are offered at the SHOPPE at the far end of the
carnival?
Oh – and let’s not forget about the food…locals
crave and look forward to it – from PIZZA and sandwiches to
delicious treats and flavors that just happen to be slapped on a
piece of COLD granite.
Take it all in and to the MAXX. STOP on by and play one of our
GAMEs. Call your friends AT The carnival. Admission is free.
The posted coordinates will take you to a parking lot. All you have
to do is visit one of our hostesses there. Treat them with respect;
some are nice, some are shy, and some may not be available. Our
hostesses have numbers assigned to them and ten are at your
disposal and ready to serve you. (Waypoints for each one are listed
below, but you should not need them.) You will need to check in
with each hostess until you find the cache container. One you have
logged your find, the cache container should be given to another
hostess of your choosing!
This game has some rules:
#1) In your online log entry, post the hostess’ number where
you FOUND the cache. (This will hopefully serve as a hint for the
next finder since they will know the cache should not be
there.)
#2) DO NOT SAY (on your online log) WHICH HOSTESS YOU GAVE THE
REHIDDEN CACHE.
#3) Please DO NOT USE Hostesses #1, #2, #3, or #9, as they are
working for someone else. (They are too close to another cache
nearby.) Please only use the numbered hostesses (referenced as
waypoints) to rehide the cache. Play fairly and stay within the
perimeter of the waypoints.
#4) In your online log entry, tell how many hostesses you visited
to make the find.
#5) Have fun.
Of course, you are looking for a magnetic key holder, so BYOP.
Stealth may be required at certain parts of the day. (That is why
the difficulty rating is higher.) Please post your online log as
soon as possible after moving the container, since the next finder
will rely on your log entry as their hint. This hunt can be done
individually but I expect a lot of team participation.
Again, DO NOT USE hostesses #1, #2, #3, or #9.
