Oh, dat scwewy wabbit! Aww he said is "If you want youw stuff back Doc, you need to fowwow the awwow to my hiding spot". I weawwy need youw hewp to find aww my wabbit things. I know he can be weal twicky too! Dat siwwy wabbit is in big twoubwe. And don't fowget, be vewy, vewy, qwiet!

This kid friendly cache is found within the trail system around Transylvania Pond in Southbury. Parking for one or two cars can be found on Roxbury Road. Follow the white blaze in. There is an intersection in the trail where you will need to go right. Follow the Blue blaze all the way around the pond. Eventually, you will come to a parking lot and will need to follow the Blue/White blaze until you wind up back to where you started (White blaze). The trail can get wet at times and there is some barbed wire along the trail so keep an eye out for the four legged ones. There is another area you can park (mentioned above) called Jaine Pierce Park off Transylvania Road. However, it says "Southbury Residents Only". This would require much more back and forth walking. You will be looking for a variety of cache types, all "natural". Very little bushwacking as most are found right off the trail. There is bounce in the area so look for the "usual" places. Lots of birds around, so some binoculars might go a long way. CITO is recommended. I hope you enjoy it.

Great job HDFLHS for the FTF.
