Geocache Description:

Juc_cacher's third hide brings you to a newly opened playground in Jan Juc. This simple multi will teach you a little bit about the history of Jan Juc and will give the petites gens something to do.

It is a popular park with the locals and the footy oval is in high demand all year round, so the extra star is due to the muggle-factor. Since originally placed, some of the homes have removed trees and so stealth is even more of a requirement.

Parking is available along the road at Sunset Strip, or at the 2 nearby carparks, one of which is available off Sunset, the other off Domain Rd. The Domain Rd one in particular will usually be full if there's footy or cricket on.

Bob Pettit was a local farmer and councillor in the Jan Juc area for many years and this popular and busy reserve, which used to be part of his farmland, is named in his honour. The supplied coordinates should bring you the first of two ceramic plaques which contain some information about him and the park you are standing in.

The kids will enjoy running around playing on the equipment, which is so well built that we struggled to find a suitable nook to use as a hide, let alone a cranny, which is why this one is a multi !

You will need to gather some clues from the plaques and then take a short walk to the final location. All paths in the area are concreted, so it's stroller, skateboard, rip-stick, bicycle friendly. There is a bit of a hill involved, but it's not steep so wheelchairs are probably OK too, although a helper may be needed at GZ. I haven't added wheelchair as an attribute, because I am not sure. I'd welcome any input on that. On very rare occasions, heavy rain may render this cache difficult to access.

So, on to the clues...

a = the number of kids that Cr Pettit had
b = the number of his grandkids
cd = the number of years he was a councillor
19ef = the year he was born
20gh = the year he died.
19ij = the year he purchased the land that is now the park

The final gz can be found at:
S: 38.20.j(cd+ef+b) E:144.17.b(a+b)(ef-gh)

The cache is a 200ml Sistema with the usual log and a couple of small swaps. Please take care returning the cache to its spot, because it can fall and become visible.

For the FTF, there are a couple of scratchies.

PS: According to google, the name of this cache is the translation of "little people play here". I didn't do French at school, so I take no responsibility for the accuracy or otherwise ! ;-)

PPS: Thanks to KirkyKrew for alerting me to the missing clue
