Here you will find the Triassic Parc, a free parc with an interesting parcour about dinosaurs,the ancestors of the dinosaurs at Gampen Pass.
In 1997 discovery of numerous impressions of prehistoric reptiles (rhyncosaurs and thecodonts, including up to 4 m long "primeval lions" with dangerous claws) near the Gampen Pass; this was 235 million years ago – long before the formation of the Alps – location of a large island surrounded by lagoons.
You can start from the town of "Unsere liebe Frau im Walde" or from the Gampenpass to the trail.
The log requirements are:
-Go to the given coordinates. There you will find a sign with some informations. Answer the following questions (and send us as email):
1) How many million years ago was the Triassic?
2) From which animal are tho most imprints here? Or wich animal do you see on the sign?
3)Which imprints from the sea you can find here?
