A nice after dinner walk on one of THE most beautiful trails we have here in Niagara. A fresh, 50 caliber ammo can to find right in our own backyard. This is a classic cache that almost anyone should be able to find easily.
We saw some deer only a few feet away while placing it. We have hiked this section many times before and enjoy this trail as often as possible. A wonderful spot to get the family out for a stroll.
GEOCACHING IS 10 YEARS OLD TODAY!!!
We discovered this amazing sport just over two years ago now and haven't looked back since :) Geobabe will be three years old this summer and has participated in the majority of our finds. He has been up trees, in caves, under bridges, in waterfalls, squishing through the mud, bumping up and down in his little red wagon, and scalling the escarpment in his backpack through all four seasons. Many people live their entire lives without experiencing even one of his adventures.
This simple little sport has brought so much to our family and we feel that the best way to give back is by hiding awesome caches! After all, if it wasn't for all the crazy cache owners spending their time placing and maintaining these amazing hides, we would not have had these special experiences as a family and created memories that will last forever.
We have posted a few of our favorite geophotos here along with their GC numbers. They are highly recommended if you are looking for adventure too. Feel free to add some of your own ;)
