This cache has been archived.

Vertighost: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so the cache is being archived to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), contact me via email (vertighost@yandex.com), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Geocache Description:

This is a day time, dry weather cache. Keep a look out for snakes and don't walk in the ruts. Some of them look dry, but you'll find out they're not when you step in them. :) Trust me....I know. BRING YOUR OWN PEN!

You'll find that this is where the truck stops. No, not the truck you're driving, because you aren't allowed to drive back there, but instead the...well...you'll see. :) It seems some have used this location to go a little "Office Space". When you find the cache there's no need to take it out. You can open it from inside. You'll see. :) PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CACHE IN TRASH OUT in this park! I have...it really needs it.

There are a few other caches in this same park. Take the day and find them all. They really aren't that far away from each other. :)

A brief history:
This area is a city park that very few people know about. Long ago in WWII it actually used to be part of Rodd Field Naval Auxiliary Air Station. Some of the northern part of the of the Field was sold to NASA when the military no longer needed it. This location was actually used to help out with the Apollo program in the 60's. Seriously! :) Long story short..the city acquired this section of land in the 80's and this is what remains.....Oso Creek Park.
