Welcoming Waterfalls Traditional Cache
all4familycaching: This well maintained area from the city has caused this cache to go missing a few times and since we placed this cache the waterfalls have never been turned on. So we Archiving this one. Thank you to all the cachers that found this one. It was a fun cache.

Located at the Welcome to Whitby waterfall display at Consumers Dr and 401 W off ramp.
We drive by this area every Tuesday as our son has weekly appointments not too far from here. The kids love seeing the waterfall display. The city turns the water off during the winter months. We will include a picture of the waterfalls once they turn them back on.
You are looking for a camo'd 2x4 lock-n-lock container. The hardest thing about this cache is retreiving it. We think that this is one of the busiest intersections in Durham. So bring your "A" game when it comes to stealth and a camera for pictures or cover. And try not to get wet.
You shouldn't have too look to hard for the cache as it is to the side of the actual water. Parking is located at Athol St (deadend) and then a short walk from there. Or you can park at the Holiday Inn but that is up too you. Or you can park in the Rest Stop area too and use the lights to cross the road.
There is a pencil in the cache but if you are like the rest of us then you should have a pen on you anyways, just in case. And please recover the cache when putting it back. Enjoy.
