Geocache Description:

The terrain is mild underbrush amongst a pine tree patch. The actual cache is 4-5 feet off the ground. Designed to be a quick park and grab to help clean up the area. Pens included with logbook along with room for small trade items.
Please bring 2 small grocery style bags with you. One is for garbage that contaminates this nest site and the other is to collect any eggs that may be laying around in the underbrush.

Congrats to Sharrowfamily for two FTF's in one day! Is that you in the rear-view mirror?

Of all the things we've seen in these parts, none were so strange as the sudden appearance of these odd greenish orbs scattered throughout the underbrush. It appears as though an alien race has chosen this patch of our planet as a remote hatchery for their fragile offspring. Apparently our climate agrees with their early development.

While we have never actually seen any alien visitors in the vicinity. There are nearby clearings that are dark at night which would be conducive to their clandestine voyages to our planet. Our numerous visits to this location over the years have always produced positive results in our collections. In fact we often find so many that we share them with our neighbors. It appears that K-9 companions also find these eggs to be a fun "toy" to play with due to the firm but flexible shroud. The fresher the specimen, the brighter the colors. Occasionally we have found some that have an orange hue, which appear to be a possible genetic mutation similar to the albino mutation found in the humanoid species. Most often however, the specimens we collect are varied in shades of a lustrous yellow-green.

Caution: We have discovered that disturbing the nest site of the orbs has a negative consequence on the hatch process. However, this was probably for the best, as have found no relevant information on exactly how humans should raise alien offspring.

For now we are just happy to share this marvelous treasure with others. Feel free to collect, as the aliens seem to repopulate this nest site on an almost daily occurrence. If you don't collect it some random pedestrian will.
