Geocache Description:

A small Tupperware container hidden at the end of the Santa Barbara Harbor Breakwater Walkway.

This cache marks the end of the breakwater walkway. This is a great place to come visit day or night. There are "whale tail" benches nearby, and the views cannot be beat. Most of the year you can see a large sand spit at the mouth of the harbor from this location. The encroaching sand is a continuous problem for boat navigation, so there is a sand dredge that lives in the harbor full time.

This sand spit also makes for some great surfing at the entrance to the harbor. Check out these Photos!

Notes: If the surf is up, there will be times that you WILL get wet visiting this cache!! There, I told you. Also, the cache is not overhead. Do not climb the ladder. Happy Hunting!
