Just a quick detour off the Peak Downs Highway
I have been thinking about placing a cache here for a long time, and have finally gotten around to it.
Every time I drive past and look up at the monument, I can't help whistling the tune of the song crafted by the lads from Monty Python for one of their feature films. The cache will be an easy grab, though a little tougher at certain times and on certain days of the week. I wanted to place the cache closer to the monument, but the current state of the 'garden' didn't make it such an attractive proposition. I just wish that the front steps and aisle of palms, get a make over at some stage. At least there is a maintained side access. Anyway, after the cache, make the short pilgramage to the top to get views over the local surrounds and cane fields.
