NWSC Cache To Eagle #3 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

NWSuburbanCouncil: Oops, hit disable instead of archive. Let's try this again. The host tree has had significant pruining back and cannot sufficiently hide a container. Thanks to all you found it over the past eight years.

Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a local series of 12 hides at locations of Northwest Suburban Council Boy Scout Eagle Projects.

Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America requires years of dedication and hard work. Over its first
100 years, Scouting has provided millions of hours of service to communities across America.

Two Scouts, Michael D. and Pranav P. of Troop 392, developed the vegetable garden in this field during two separate projects in 2008 and 2009. Michael's made the garden while Pranav's built the fencing and gate. Since its creation, the boys of Troop 392 have grown and donated over 400 pounds of fresh produce to the local food pantry.

Cache placed with permission of Our Saviour United Methodist Church. Worship services are Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 9 & 10:30am so please plan your visit accordingly
