Park at the entry to the walking track just before North Haven Beach, or the beach car park itself. (For a shorter walk, the 4WD track off Ocean Drive between NH and Bonny Hills gets you closer.)
The cache is a large, screw top, clear plastic container located well off the walking track but in an easily accessible area.
Probably best to do in/after dry weather.
In springtime the wildflowers are lovely along here so I recommend the long walk. You need to venture off the path so just remember that snakes do live in the bush. In the area where you walk it is quite easy to see where you are stepping - no grass - so just take normal, sensible care. I saw a large goanna when hiding the cache - but he left me alone and I certainly left him alone too.
I thought this place would be rather "unvisited" but found the makings of a great tent-frame cubby. This made me alter my original plan. The cache is uphill a little and into the "scrub" a bit but still clear underfoot. My GPS usually plays up under tree cover so I hope the clue helps if needed. The cache is covered with leaf litter. Plenty of room in this one to leave your trackable items. Happy hunting.
