Camera Traditional Cache

Gotland’s first and one of Sweden’s oldest geocaches, close to the beautiful Hallshuk!

The hiding place is carefully chosen to be dry, safe from mugglers and sustainable for the future. Hint, the shortest way is not always the easiest and fastest. Try to find the trail from east. Otherwise, watch out for the thorn bushes.

Note

Since the last renovation in 2011, the cache has been upgraded with a new box and logbook in November 2021. This maintenance will hopefully make the cache last a few more years. In connection with the restoration a brief history of the Camera cache is attached to the inside of the cache box lid.

The cache is placed under a stone.

The inital content of the cache was:

• 1 single use camera
• 1 pocket calculator
• 1 Halloween surprise (outside the box)
• 1 Falcon Beer badge
• A bunch of pens
