Isolata e quasi nascosta, ai limiti del bosco, la piccola chiesa
di S. Adriano è un gioiello poco noto del nostro romanico. Un
romanico povero e semplice, il nostro, ma che affondò le radici
nell’età paleocristiana, trasse alimento da
quell’intreccio di popoli da cui nacque la nostra comune
civiltà europea. Nelle forme attuali, la chiesetta di
Sant’Adriano è il risultato di una straordinaria
stratificazione di lavori e di interventi realizzati in epoche
diverse. Così come lo vediamo oggi, risale agli anni tra XI e XII
secolo, epoca in cui le monache benedettine di San Vittore di Meda
ne divennero proprietarie promuovendo importanti lavori di
ristrutturazione dell'edificio preesistente.
Arrivati a Olgelasca (frazione di Brenna) posteggiate nei pressi
del semaforo.
Seguite quindi le indicazioni per la chiesa (coordinate listing),
posta su un piccolo terrapieno all’inizio del bosco.
Effettuate un giro perimetrale e contate i faretti disposti a
terra:

Raggiungete nella radura un cartello indicatore e proseguite
lungo il sentiero, attenzione al fango, consiglio di stare
leggermente sulla sinistra del sentiero grande principale.
Una breve passeggiate nel bosco e arriverete al cache.

Isolated and almost hidden at the edge of the woods, the little
church of S. Adriano is a little known jewel of our Roman. A
Romanesque poor and simple, our, but which has its roots early
Christian age, took food from that web of people who gave birth to
our common European civilization. In its present form, the church
of Saint Adrian is the result of an extraordinary stratification
works and interventions in different eras. As we see it today,
dates back to the years between the eleventh and twelfth century,
when the Benedictine monks of St. Victor I became the owners of
Meda promoting major renovation of the existing building.
Once in Olgelasca (village of Brenna) parked near the traffic
lights.
Follow the signs for the church (listing
coordinate), located on a small embankment to the top of the
forest.
Make a perimeter around and count the spots arranged on the
ground:

Join in the clearing a signpost and continue down the path,
attention to mud, advice to stay slightly to the left of the big
main path.
