Urban cache at the end of the Canada Trail/old rail line; thus the access is flat except for the last 10 meters which is a gentle slope. Watch for muggles who are enjoying nature by bike or foot. Parking is close by.
This is our 1st cache to celebrate our 1st anniversary of geocaching.
Thanks to our wonderful son and daughter-in-law (The Tipz) who introduced us to this awesome hobby a year ago.
It contains a log book, pen and swag. There is a Tims card for the FTF. You might see deer in the fields and along the trail.
A decision was made in the 80's to close down some of the rail spur lines. Thus this part became a section of the Trans Canada Trail. You may enjoy this trail by biking or hiking in the summer and cross country skiing or snow shoeing in the winter.
(I adopted this cache a little while after the passing of one half of GADABOUT 71. RIP, Vic! waxwing454)
