The wrong bridge Traditional Cache

This cache was put out to celebrate(?) the installation of a new bridge in Cowling.
The old bridge was demolished and this one built - but we can't work out why! A bridge further downstream was washed away about 3 years ago in a flood and still hasn't been replaced... so why we wondered did they replace this one that was perfectly serviceable when there wasn't one left further downstream? My guess is it's down to council risk assessments. Or they replaced the wrong one... hence the name!
It amused us when we placed the cache to find the notice on the gate - see the photo (we didn't put it there, others must have the same thoughts).
Be aware of dog walking muggles - this is a popular route to walk.
Please tuck away so that it can't be seen from the path after you've signed the log.
