This geocache is located in Bahia Honda State Park,at about mile marker 36. This cache was placed with the help of the park manager to ensure the protection of the environment. The location is near the marina. We have seen manatee right near this geocache, so please take the time to refresh your memory on manatee facts. There is a manatee facts board posted in the marina.
There is an entrance fee to enter the park.
The cache is a small, soap dish size container that holds a pencil and log sheet. It is out of sight of any muggles. GZ brings you between two beautiful beaches where you can swim, snorkel, eat, boat, fish and enjoy a wonderful day at the beach. There is a consession stand and clean bathrooms close by.
There are 3 other geocaches in this park and an Earthcache that brings you to great places. Plan on spending the day and enjoy all that the park has to offer.
Bring your lunch. There is a picnic table near by.
