Geocache Description:

Sumitomo Building is one of old and beautiful stone buildings in Osaka City.

This beautiful five story building was built in 1926. Because of Kanto Daishinsai Quake hit hard in 1923, the original design of seven stories had to be changed to more conservative design of five. The building used to be the headquarter of Sumitomo Bank. Now it is Osaka Office of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. A 35mm film cache is placed right in front of the building.
