Join us for Ice Cream to celebrate the birth of Geocaching. You will get a special icon and this will be a great end to your geocaching day.
Purpose: Celebrate 10 years of geocaching
Date: May 1 (Saturday)
Time: 7PM to 8:00PM
Location: Holiday Ice Cream
Edgewater Park, NJ
Selective availability was removed on May 1 greatly improving the accuracy of GPS units. Two days later Dave Ulmer placed the first stash in Oregon and published the coordinates to a GPS user group. The stash was found within days and Geocaching was born! There are now over a million caches worldwide.
This is to be a festive occasion and a pictured is required. To help this along you are requested to wear a something Red, White or Blue.
