The purpose of this cache is to provide an introduction to QR Code This is a technology that makes use of the features in a modern mobile phone. The way this cache uses the technology is very simple and it is possible to deduce the final coordinates for this cache without the use of a mobile phone, but in doing so geocachers will learn a little of the scope of QR Code
The cache is placed near the Seton Collegiate Church which is managed by Historic Scotland as one of the finest surviving medieval collegiate churches in Scotland and well worth a visit.
The cache has been relocated and hopefully will be safe .............. it should now be easier to find at all times of the year.
Parking is available at the coordinates above if you are visiting the church.
Alternatively park near The Sandy Walk and it's a short pleasant walk to the Gates and across the field to the cache area.
