Get your breath now you are at the top and climb the stile in style. Once found continue on the path and through the kissing gate, follow the road to the right past the houses. When placed the cache contained a log, pencil, karabiner and key ring there is room for small swaps.
GOOSEWELL GALLOP is a circular walk of six caches and one bonus cache, suggested parking is at N50 20.930’ W004 05 343’.The walk is approximately one and a half miles which will take you through Buddle Woods keeping to footpaths but does contain a fairly steep stepped climb between “WOODEN PATH and STONE STILE” caches. Once through this area you will have a very short road section and then pass through some fields again keeping to footpaths with far reaching views across Dartmoor as far as Princetown on a clear day, these fields often contain horses giving this short walk its name but don’t worry they are fenced off from the footpaths. Then back into the woods for the remaining caches and the return to the suggested parking area. PLEASE REPLACE ALL CACHES AS YOU FIND THEM AS MUGGLES DO FREQUENT THIS AREA. GPS MAY BE ERRATIC DUE TO TREE COVERAGE PLEASE READ THE CLUES TO ASSIST YOU.
