Terrain will vary from a 2-3 depending on the time of year due to overgrowth. Should not be too difficult to find. Please help with coordinates as there is a bunch of trees to help throw off gps.
This cache is located in the woods just off of school property. The only way to access this cache is to park in the parking lot of the school and approach from there. This cache was placed with permission from the administrator, but as with all caches, please be sneaky. Many if not all of the faculty and staff from the school will know about this cache, so if approached, please kindly tell them what you are doing and that you will be leaving the grounds soon.
I am currently attending High Point University and will be graduating in May of this year, but I wanted to place this cache close to home for several reasons. This is the school that I attended from Kindergarten all the way through my Senior year. This cache is extremely close to my permanent residence so I should be able to monitor it and maintain its condition fairly easily. Another major reason for this location is that my mother teaches at this school and thought that it would be a great idea to send off a TB that could travel the world for her history classes. This way, when the bug reaches a new location, they can discuss various things about where it has gone. So, when this bug has finally been made, this cache will be the launching point for it.
The reasoning behind the name of this cache is this. I more often than not go out to find a cache up in the Greensboro/ High Point area that is supposed to have a TB or coin in it, but the trackable has been taken and not logged. Many people out there are taking the trackable items and are keeping them without reporting that they took them. Sometimes this is accidental and the trackable will show up in another location, but I often see a trackable logged in a cache for several years. I started to collect as many coins as I can find in that area and always bring them down to the Fayetteville area when I come to visit family. I am naming this the Trackable Safe House because I am taking trackables from one area and hoping to bring them back here so that they can hopefully be safe and continue their journeys. I see several cachers from High Point down here all the time, so if you are from that area and don't steal coins, I greatly appreciate that you are playing this game correctly and don't mean any insult to you.
As always with hotels, this is so that many cachers can find several different coins and discover them or help to move them on. If you want to leave the coins and just discover them, please do that. If you want to take a coin, I ask that you please replace it with another. If you don't replace it, thats cool too, just please move it on and don't keep it to yourself.
Also, please don't take all of the trackables..... this is so that many cachers can grab or discover some....please limit yourselves....
There are always mini muggles and muggles around, so again, please be stealthy and if caught, just explain what you are doing and you should be fine........ the best times to approache this cache would be after 6, because the daycare will be out at that time. There are usually sports games going on too, so even after 6 you may encounter someone........
