Cache is located at half way point, on a great walk around Lake Caum, located in Glanteenassig Forest. It’s one of the most spectacular places Kerry has to offer. Take camera and picnic basket with you! You won’t be disappointed.
Full circle around lake is about 2km, on a timber footpath. There are no shortcuts from car park to cache, so you need to choose your path: left or right. To find cache won’t be easy as there are endless numbers of places to hide one.
Entry to Glanteenassig Forest Recreation Area is thru main gate, please take note of opening hours:
September to April: 9am-6pm
May to August: 7am-10pm
Cache is a medium size plastic container, with few items to trade, pen and logbook.
