Geocache Description:

The Maricopa Trail is a project in the making that,when completed, will connect all ten county parks in Maricopa County. The non-motorized trail will be 242 miles in length and projected to be completed in 1014. Eighty miles is now complete.

The Maricopa Trail is limited to hiking, horseback riding, biking, and, in some portions , inline skating. I would predict there will be many caches placed along this trail in the future and would encourage others to add to this series as the trail is completed near your location.

This is my last placement on this completed section between White Tank Park and Sun Valley Parkway. The trail actually passes under a culvert just west of McMicken Dam. However, at this time the trail has not been completed going north from Sun Valley Parkway.

You could make this grab from Crozier Road if you could find a way over, under, or through the fence. Another option is from Greenway as described in the listing for "Discovering Maricopa Trail Series 2". Another option might be a nice hike from White Tank Park to Sun Valley Parkway with an auto at both ends. You could gather them all in that way.
