Geocache Description:

The title is a paraphrase of a line taken from Rudyard Kipling's The Islanders.

Here is where aspirant young sports people in various codes hone their skills just to have fun in their chosen sports or, maybe, get to be good enough to represent their province or country.

This is known, locally, as the Sports Ground. On Show Day it's all happening, Preserves, handicrafts and prize winning vegetables in the pavilion.
Outside there will be stock in pens awaiting the beady-eyed judges, kids and their ponies and adult riders with their horses waiting to try out the jumps.
There will be sideshows and food tents and displays of agricultural machinery. Definitely the place to be on Show Day

It is surrounded on three sides by the Roxburgh Golf Club and is much used as a practice ground by golfers limbering up prior to teeing off on the nearby #1 tee.

You are looking for a 200ml Klipit Systema with a logbook, pencil & sharpener and a stash note.

In summer the tree canopy may make GPSr reception a bit problematic!
