Geocache Description:

There didn't seem to be a cache on this side of Florence so we decided to place one. The location is a roadside where you can view Lake Oakdale on both sides. If you look closely you can see turtles everywhere! Nearly every log in the water has a turtle or two or three.

There is a small bridge on the road and there is room to park on the side of the road on both sides of the bridge and often people stop here to fish. The cache is not actually on the bridge though. This cache has been there since 2010 so it is historic! It was destroyed once but a nice person replaced it for us. You are looking for a small camo pill bottle. Be careful not to be seen - It is not a terribly busy road but there are often cars passing by so don't let them see! We have moved away to Alabama now but love to see every time someone finds our cache. Take pictures and post if you can - It reminds us of our SC home!
