Leigh Ann Hussey was a California Bay Area geocacher, member of the
SCA, motorcyclist, internationally known musician, and an all
around much loved and inspiring person, who showed great passion in
all that she strived to do. Tragically, Leigh Ann lost her life in
May of 2006 while returning from geocaching on her motorcycle. This
series of caches is to honor her on the 4th anniversary of her
passing.
We chose the setting of High Pass road because it is a road with
many changes, obstacles, and is somewhat challenging to travel on.
However, we feel the journey is totally worth it for the beautiful
scenery, the remoteness, and the adventure. We think that Leigh Ann
would have approved.
Many folks that we know knew her personally, and although we never
met her in the physical world, we are touched deeply by her story,
her music and her strong spirit.
This is the fifth cache in the series required to find GC26J3Z,
High Pass Road Challenge - In Memory of Motogrrl. Cache is a lock
and lock container not quite big enough to be a regular, but has a
good amount of room for tradeables and trackables..

Congratulations SwineFlew for being FTF!!
Please note: High Pass Road is steep, for the most part not
paved, and can be muddy or icy in the winter time. There are
hunters out there some parts of the year. Terrain and Difficulty
are for the cache only. Please use caution especially if bicycling
or motorcycling.
"We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
Through the unknown, unremembered gate
When the last of earth left to discover
Is that which was the beginning;
At the source of the longest river
The voice of the hidden waterfall
And the children in the apple-tree
Not known, because not looked for
But heard, half-heard, in the stillness
Between two waves of the sea."
