ROURE CENTENARI
Passeig tranquil
i agradable (uns tres quarts d'hora entre anar i tornar) pel mig
d’un frondós bosc mediterrani del terme de Viladecavalls.
Envoltats de pins, alzines, llentiscle i roures i acompanyats pel
cant dels pit-roig, el bruel, el cargolet i les mallerengues,
arribarem als peus d’un impressionant roure
centenari.
Al Km 8 de la
carretera B-120 entre Viladecavalls i Olesa de Montserrat hi ha un
trencall a la dreta, és l'antic camí de Can Marcet. Aparcarem el
cotxe a la petita esplanada de la dreta (WP0: N41º33.428 E
001º56.016) i, caminarem seguint la pista uns 300m. Trobarem una
pista que marxa a la dreta (WP1: N41º33.599 E 001º556.874) i la
seguirem fins al final sense fer cas dels camins secundaris que
puguem trobar. Fent una àmplia corba deixarem a l'esquerra i a
sobre la masia de Can Marcet i la via del tren per seguir baixant
suament fins trobar-nos de cara amb el majestuós roure
centenari.
Alerta si anem amb mainada, l’antic forn que hi ha a mà dreta
del roure queda amagat per la vegetació i, des de dalt, hi ha una
caiguda considerable.

Near the
centennial oak
Calm and
pleasant walk (45 minuts among going and coming back) for a
Mediterranean forest in Viladecavalls. Surrounded with pines, holm
oaks, lentiscus and oaks and accompanied by the singing of the
robin, the firecrest, the wren and the tits, we will arrive to the
feet of an impressive centennial oak.
To the Km 8
of the road B-120 between Viladecavalls and Olesa de Montserrat
there is a detour in the right, it’s the antique way of Can
Marcet. We will park the car in the small esplanade of the right
(WP0: N41º33.428 E 001º56.016) and, we will walk the track the
first 300 m. We will find a way that goes to the right (WP1:
N41º33.599 E 001º556.874) and we will follow it until the end.
Making an extense curve we will leave in the left and above the
farmhouse of Can Marcet and the way of the train to continue
bringing down until forget the majestic centennial
oak.
Caution if we
go with children, the antique oven that there is on the right of
the oak is hidden by the vegetation and there are a considerable
fall.
