NOTE* From Late April 2014 until January 1, 2015 caches 10 - 16 are not available due to work being carried out by the Forestry Commission ~ we have therefore disabled them until the work is completed as the area is not accessible to the public.
A series of caches which may be completed individually or as part of a circular series leading to a bonus and 17th cache in this series.
A circular walk of about 5 miles that will take you around Devauden and surrounding countryside. This is an amended route (April 2011) from caches 2 to 7.
From 5 November 2011 cache #2 has been archived.
Overall rating is based on the walk as a whole using Geocaching rating system. Some are wheelchair and pushchair accessible and these will show in the attributes for each cache.
In SOME of the caches there will be a clue to enable you to work out the final co-ordinates for the bonus.
Cache details
Lareg Clip lock box in cammo bag, contains (at placing) usual swaps, log, pencil and 3 TB's in a race.
GPS was eratic and we had a reading of +/- 5 meters - the spoiler/hint reflects this.
****NOTE**** NOVEMBER 5 2011
Cache #2 has been archived, and is no longer available. There was a clue in #2 B=3 ~ you will need this for the bonus cache. We cannot get out for a while so kindly ask the next cacher to visit #1 to add B=3 to the log book, many thanks Rob and Alison
