Geocache Description:

One of 3 we have placed in this beautiful area.

Cache is located at the end of the "Picnic Point Trail, also known
as Sturgeon Point.

The trail is rocky and may be slippery if it rains, with one section that is a bit of a challenge, but rope is in place to help you make it up, but nothing too hard, as you make your way along the rugged shores of "The Big Lake". Incredible scenery and about a 450 meter hike,
according to the sign.




Cache has been placed with permission from the Land Manager ( Nice Lady) and is a camouflaged Ammo can containing high quality buck store $2.00 stuff. No expense spared for you cachers. Trade even please. There is also an Unactivated Travel Bug Tag for FTF. The trail head is at the very end of the road, do not confuse the trail with the upper trail. Although both will get you here eventually. Parking and trail head located at N48 10.357 W089 17.346. Enjoy the walk along these trails that parallel the shores of Lake Superior and be responsible cachers DO NOT leave any trash and please replace the cache in the same spot and the same manner so that it is hidden well. PLEASE replace the cover over it. The cache is hidden only steps from the main trail. While in the area to get even a better Birds eye view visit KAY located on top of the cliffs above you, and SNUGGLE 2 great caches.
