This cache is located on the site of the first church built in Blue Mountain in 1834 by settlers who arrived in 1818. The church existed on this site until 1856.
To get to the cache, park at the end of the ATV trail at the parking coordinates listed and it is an easy 9 minute walk from there. It is possible to drive closer with a truck or jeep, but a car may bottom out on the road if you try to drive to the cache.
