Thirlmere to Castlerigg 3
For the intro see High Rigg - Top o' the First Rise. This is the fourth cache along the trail.
It is placed near the wettest spot on the High Rigg ridge. The stepping stones which are frequently the only way to cross the soggy morrain and stay (hopefully) dry are almost alongside.
The area has a short low rock escarpment - the crag of Moss Crag - and there is a prominent prow below it requiring no technical skills only care to reach.
