Geocache Description:

Cache placed at a stunning lookout above Palm Beach.

Co-ordinates for parking and the start of the track are S 36° 47.000 E 175° 03.101. When parking, keep the turning area clear. It has been noted in the comments that there is vehicle access much closer to the cache, however, this is a private driveway. Please do not use it to access the cache.

From the car park the track follows a main ridge line on Waiheke Island. It runs between open farmland and developed property, to a high point which gives a stunning vista of the northern coastline and all areas between the sky tower and Great Barrier Island.

The cache is in a 500g jar. Please take care to replace it very carefully. The area of the GZ is mowed occasionally, so make sure that the cache will not be discovered when the mower clears the area.

Dogs are welcome, but watch out for any droppings they may have left. Remember to bring a plastic bag to clean up after your dog.
