The Avenue, in Mount Wilson, is in our opinion one of the most beautiful roads to drive along in the Blue Mountains.
All year round The Avenue is totally enclosed in trees. Hoojar remembers as a fifteen year old when he first came here at night the road took on an almost spooky appearance.
In Autumn as the leaves start to fall from the trees (as was happening when we hid the cache) The Avenue takes on an even more stunning appearance. Photographers galore flock to the area to capture the beauty on offer.
This cache is deliberately hidden at the end of The Avenue to ensure that you drive right along and get to take in all that is on offer. Don't spoil the delights by attempting this one at night! The cache is a small container hidden just out of view from the park. Satellite coverage at GZ may be a little patchy, but that should not bother you too much.
