We figured more caches were needed in the city, so here it goes.
This cache is located along the "Nature in the City trail" in the north end of the city. The creek alongside the trail is called Swanson's Creek, so this is where the name of the cache came from. It is an old stomping grounds of sorts for me as I used to snowmobile on this very trail, and hung out alot at the community center that is nearby.
The cache is a camoed plastic peanut butter jar and has a logbook, pencil, pencil sharpener as well as some of the usual swag.
The closest parking is at the new soccer fields, adjacent to New Prospect Public School. The trail can also be entered by parking at the following locations: North Dryden Community Center (a little longer walk) at the end of Pioneer and First street, The Fairground or Agricultural Center on HWY 601 (Colonization Ave. North, a longer walk again), or near Dingwall Ford on Hwy 17 (the longest walk).
Please put the cache back into it's same hiding spot and enjoy!
