Is it worth the risk? You decide. Just a cache in the woods or is it?
Geocaching can put you in all kinds of risky situations. However I would like to think that none of you would knowingly put yourself at risk. I hope you are well prepared for your geocaching adventures and stick to terrain that is not too difficult for you and that you wear enough bug spray in mosquito season. I also hope you watch where you walking rather than just staring at your gps! I hope you don't go down steep hills or attempt to go up hills that are too steep for you. I hope you take food on long hikes just in case you get hungry. I hope you tell your friends where your going and that you never get your vehicle stuck in a deep mud hole. I hope if you have any problems you carry a cell phone and are in an area that gets service. I hope you don't get your feet soaking wet.
Hmmmm but on the other hand don't these risky things make for interesting adventures and wonderful geocaching stories that will be told over and over again at events?!
So I suggest use caution but be prepared because geocaching can be risky but it is also a wonderful adventure.
Oh and we saw some bear poop when we placed this cache, but it was a very small poop so it must have been a very small bear so that is not much risk at all.
Hope you enjoy your risk....er adventure I mean!!
I suggest you bring a pen, there is none in the nano cache. Note a special tool may be needed to get log book out!
