Stoneage in Stonehenge Multi-Cache
bthoma: It has been a fun time for Stoneage in Stonehenge, but it is time to archive the cache and move on. I will be taking the 5 stage multi off the listing, but will soon be replacing it with several single caches, for even more fun. Thanks to everyone who came out and hunted down this multi.

All caches are placed with permission of the land owner. This is a kid friendly, very easy to find 5 stage multi-cache that should take less than an hour start to finish. There are a few hills to climb and depending on the time of year, there may be some high weeds, poison ivy and a few thorns, but who said the Stoneage was easy!
You will probably want to drive between caches, park on blacktop at each one and then hike your way in when necessary.
The idea for this madness came from a fellow geocacher who sent the following note after he found our first geocache here in the Stonehenge Subdivision.
“Quite a few years ago when our daughter was first learning to read she got very angry at us one time when were driving past Stonehenge. She kept telling us that she wanted to go to the amusement park up there. We told here "no, there's nothing like that up there". She said "Yes there is, it's like Flintstones and it's called "Stoneage""'.............
The more I thought about it the more I thought she was right, so……This is a fun cache for little kids and for all you big kids too.
You will be retrieving a new set of coordinates at each cache, eventually leading you to the final, rather large cache.
Bring something to write on and with to record your coordinates at each cache.
When searching for cache #2 and #4 - watch for the deer trails leading off of the road and into the woods. The deer have made some pretty good trails. They are the easiest way in and out with fewer briars and poison ivy. At stage four, the woods has grown a good bit, so I placed yellow caution tape along the initial trail so you will know the easiest way to enter the woods. As you walk down the road at stage four - look left for the yellow tape. Enter the woods there.
Hope you get a smile from this one – and maybe even laugh out loud! Yabba Dabba Doo!
