Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Tarkiln Bayou Preserve on Bauer Rd. Park at: N 30 22.375 W 087 24.168 Parking fee is $3 per carload. From here, walk across Bauer Road to the Wet Prairie Trail. There is a pedestrian entrance next to the gate. The hike is a little more than a third of a mile. Available only during daylight hours.

I got the idea for this cache from a cache in Washington State that one of my travel bugs landed in. It is called "Everybody gets an FTF!" The following are "Additional Logging Suggestions": Most cachers will be familiar with the acronym FTF (first-to-find). This cache is an opportunity for everyone to claim their FTF fame. To log this cache, come up with your own acronym for your particular FTF find, and then state what your acronym means. Examples: FTFWMD - FTF With My Dog FTFOAW - FTF On A Wednesday FTFWPS - FTF Wearing Pink Slippers Be as creative as you like. Attribute information: Children may enjoy this, but please be mindful it will be more than a half-mile hike roundtrip. It can be muddy at times. There are a restroom and a picnic table at the parking coordinates. Enjoy the hunt. Placed with permission.
