Geocache Description:

Over the past few years, there have been several new variations to geocaching. Not long ago, I learned about "Hamstercaching" and wanted to place a cache in honor of this sport and to celebrate the selfless hamsters that are involved. Without them, this wouldn't be possible!!!

The search requires a "stroll" of less than 400 feet from the road across uneven, but relatively flat land. Watch out for holes that little critters have dug to try to trip you!

PLEASE NOTE: There is a hamster in this cache. He is living in this cache permanently. He is a hermit hamster.

OTHER CACHE CONTENTS MAY INCLUDE: Swag, Travel Bugs, Geo Coins and Hamstercaching Leaflets.

ALSO: There will be a log book and writing instruments to record your visit.

GATED AREA: This site can only be accessed during daylight hours as the gate at the Kerr Dam turn off is locked at sunset.

Congratulations to MTKiwi on FTF!
