Recently I was caching in San Rafael on a day that got increasingly wet: at first a mist, then a drizzle, now droplets, then lots and lots of droplets. Stop caching? You must be kidding! Then I noticed a nearby cache: "Do We" really know Dewey? (GCV4T1) and from its description, it sounded like a really good cache to spend some time on! This cache is similar to that one.
Even if it isn't a rainy day, this location is in a pleasant environment with lots of comfortable seating.
It is very unlikely that your GPSr will work in this environment.. so to find this cache you have several options:
1. Start at one end and work your way around to the other.... needle in the haystack method; if it is raining hard this isn't a bad idea;
2. Use one of the computers available and look up 'Geocaching' to narrow the search area;
3. Use the hint.
Beware: The cache isn't always available: Monday: 10am - 6pm; Tuesday, Wednesday: 10am to 8pm; Thursday,Friday, Saturday: 10am - 6pm, Sunday 1pm - 5pm. It is placed with the permission of senior staff person on site.
As usual with this type of container, you will need to bring something with which to write!
