Kenaston Public Cemetery Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

onecrazycanadian: Hi,

I was doing a review of disabled caches in the area and noticed that you have had this one disabled for over a month. I am inquiring as to your intentions in relation to the cache. Are you still planning on addressing the problem for which it was disabled? If not then could you please consider archiving it to remove it from the list. I will check back in a month to see if the situation has been corrected. If there has been no response in that time the cache may be subject to archival.

Thanks

Geocache Description:

Please be respectful where you step. You are looking for a cammoed container, slightly larger than a bison tube.

Unfortunately, we couldn't dig up any interesting information on the history of this cemetery. Although, we do know that Kenaston was settled by many Croatian immigrants in the early 1900s. At that time the settlement was known as Bonnington and the town began to boom when the Saskatchewan Valley Land Company was formed, made up of wealthy men from the States. The president was Col. A.D. Davidson and one of his associates was F.E. Kenaston, who was head of the Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company. Other than that, we don't have a lot of information!
