Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and is commonly referred to
as the Red Planet. The distinct red color was observed by
stargazers throughout history. It was given its name by the Romans
in honor of their god of war. The ancient Egyptians named the
planet Her Descher meaning the red one.
Before space exploration, Mars was considered the best candidate
for harboring extraterrestrial life!!
No need to bushwack - unless you really like thorns! Stay on the
path and you shall be rewarded! (Just off the path when you get
closer to ground zero)
The original container can be seen in the attached photo. Thus
making the name of the cache make sense! This was not the ideal
spot for this container... it has been replaced with better camo'd
container. Don't worry, we do plan on hiding the original container
again!
