Welcome to the Village at Fairview
The Fountain!

This is an experience cache! You will experience the Fountain show. Here’s the bad news…it goes twice nightly at exactly 7PM and 9PM. The coordinates bring you to the center of the fountain. The cache IS NOT there. Instead you will have to solve the puzzle through experience in order to find the final coordinates. Your math skills will determine how quickly after the show ends you can head for the final.

While you wait for the show to begin:
Roam the nearby area and count the number of horse heads used for all the local cowboys to tie up their “horses” so they don’t wander off during the show. You will need the total number of horse heads in this area as part of the special formula (H).
The Show:
2 to 4 songs are played while the fountains “dance” along to the tunes. Sing and dance along with the music. Enjoy Yourself!!!
STAY OUT OF THE FOUNTAIN DURING THE SHOW!
The Formula:
Find a number on the Purple Cow door (P). Find a number on the window of Gloria's (G). Find the number of leaves on the purple mural above the stage between Gloria's and Purple Cow (L). Find the number of volleyball courts at The Village Beach behind you (V).
Final Coordinates:
N 33 08.(P - 2H)
W 096 39.(G - L + 5V + 1)

The Final container is a 35mm film canister that is mounted to its hiding spot. Look carefully when you arrive at the final. It is secured to keep it from accidental loss or passers by. The actual difficulty of the final is 1.5/1.5 – added difficulty overall due to time and puzzle solving.
