Another in my series of American Revolutionary War Patriot's. This
cemetery has no historical marker for Andrew Lytle. Please look for
him and thank him for his service. His grave can be seen from the
cache. This is what I can find about him.
A Bicentenial $2.00 bill appropriately goes to the FTF'er.

Andrew Lytle Jr (1762-1855) was born in Ireland in 1762. He
first settled in Pennsylvania and then moved to Salem, New York.
Lytle served as a major in the New York Militia stationed in
Washington County. According to a newspaper article, Lytle's father
Andrew Sr., also served in the Revolution.
Andrew Lytle Jr moved to Wisconsin in 1838, with his son Adam, and
died at age 93, on September 7, 1855. He is buried in the small
United Presbyterian Cemetery located in the Town of Yorkville,
Racine County-about four miles north of Union Grove.
Lytle's grave is near the back center. There are two markers-a flat
family marker somewhat sunken into the turf, and a bronze
government marker with a SAR medallion attached.
The WSQ in the title of this cache is an acronym for
Wisconsin Spirit Quest. Wisconsin geocachers have adopted this
acronym to designate their cemetery caches. As this is classified
as a cemetery cache please note it is NOT hidden on any grave
marker or site. If there is a service going on, or folks are
visiting their loved ones when you arrive please be respectful and
come back at a later time. Your understanding and compassion for
those folks will
be appreciated.

The cache is not located near a

out.
