Just when you think you're all alone in the woods and it's safe to do some monkeying around someone shows up.
So I'm about 25 feet up this tree and the dogs start woofin'. I thought I was in a fairly remote place to put a cache. I felt I had to explain myself to the mountain biker/cacher (PHSXC) who looked up and said, "geez, you're nuts".
"Oh hi, we're just doing some geocaching." "Wow, really. I didn't know there was a cache up here?"
"There is now!"
I was supposed to be out trying to retrace my steps for "Who is in the woods at night", which presently is out of order due to the harshness of winter, but I got sidetracked when I found a mountain bike path that cris-crosses the Parker Trail. So we went for a hike and a climb instead. Lucky you...
Be sure to bring some equipment. A monkey trained in retrieval may work, a jet-pack, a strong friend that can toss you 15 feet, or perhaps an axe are some suggestions. Or maybe, just maybe, you too can climb this tree in two steps.
The cache is visible from the trail, up the best climbing tree in the vicinity.
FIRST TO FIND FAME FOR NANNY GOAT! I ALWAYS KNEW THAT GOATS COULD FLOAT!
