Curse of the FTF Anglesey #2 "Cymyran"
This cache is placed on the Anglesey Coastal Path on the way to Cymyran beach. The beach down here is one of our favorite places on Anglesey. Great beach, great fun in the channel at certain states of tide. Please have a pen or pencil with you.
Guidelines for this series are below:
1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (in this case, Curse of the FTF Anglesey #3) within 1 month. Please note only the FTF'er should place the next cache and not every time someone finds the cache.
2. You can only be a FTF for this series once. This spreads the FTF love around, and gives others a chance to play along. (This is at least till everyone has had ago at FTF who wants to)
3. Cache can be any size or type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.), but I do ask that:
You set it on the Isle of Anglesey and if it is a puzzle then it can not be to hard as it should be easy enough for everyone to find.
4. You must include this set of guidelines in your listing for the series I will be happy to answer any questions concerning the guidelines or about the placing of caches to those who have not placed a cache before. By way of clarification, there is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Everyone should log their find, and hopefully the FTF person will play along and place another cache, but it is in no way a requirement for logging your find. But if you don't intend to carry on the series please do not FTF and leave it for someone else.
Curse of the FTF - Anglesey #2 - CYMYRAN
As most of this area is AONB and also close to RAF Valley, we have been unable to place the cache actually at Cymyran Beach - for obvious reasons!
The cache is located on the Anglesey Coast Path, close to a tidal road en route to the beach. It is possible(we've done it!), but not advisable, to drive a car along here. We usually use mountain bikes, but, of course you can always walk. To avoid this by car, keep to the 'main!' road to the end of the metalled road where there is an off-road parking area. This is a favorite spot for plane spotting in the week. In summer there is even a cafe open.
If you wish to continue after finding the cache and explore the beach, then carry on down the track from the parking area. If you are driving and your vehicle has limited ground clearance, then we would advise parking here and walking. Otherwise, take on the potholed track and park closer to the beach.
